Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the global sales strategy for our client. He or she will use their extensive knowledge of sales and customer service to drive customer engagement and revenue growth across both B2B and B2C channels. Additionally, he or she will refine established systems and processes to improve forecasting accuracy, develop the sales pipeline, and provide exceptional post-sales service to the customers.
The ideal candidate is capable of "big company" thinking but is just as comfortable taking an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach to their work. Success in this role requires attention to detail, forward planning, and exceptional communication skills.
As part of the management team, this person will work collaboratively with other department leaders to help the business grow in scale and scope. He or she will lead a team of people in the UK, US, Canada, and Europe and must be capable of managing cultural differences within the team, as well as understand that sales strategies that work in one country may not work in another.
This team-oriented role suits someone with an analytical mindset and a willingness to "roll up their sleeves" when needed.
