Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and system requirements for Data & Analytics initiatives.
  • Create System Requirements Documents, wireframes, SOPs, process flows, governance trackers, test cases, UAT documentation, and supporting artefacts.
  • Support JIRA ticket triage, including request review, clarification, categorization, prioritization, assignment, follow-up, and status tracking.
  • Develop and execute functional test cases and UAT scripts for dashboards, reports, data processes, and analytics solutions.
  • Validate delivered solutions against documented requirements, business rules, acceptance criteria, and reporting expectations.
  • Document defects, coordinate fixes, support retesting, and prepare UAT summary reports.
  • Support Data & Analytics governance processes, including data promotion, fixes, reporting governance, post-deployment validation, backup and recovery, and operational handoffs.
  • Maintain governance logs, decision records, action trackers, issue logs, process inventories, and supporting artefacts.
  • Support dashboard lifecycle activities, including requirements documentation, functional validation, enhancement tracking, issue resolution, and operational handoff.
  • Work closely with business users, SMEs, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen governance, traceability, quality, and operational effectiveness.



Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, System Analyst, Data Analyst, Data Governance Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong experience documenting requirements, processes, workflows, SOPs, test cases, UAT results, and governance artefacts.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing/work management tools.
  • Experience supporting functional testing, UAT, defect tracking, retesting, and stakeholder sign-off.
  • Experience with reporting, dashboards, Power BI, or business intelligence solutions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Visio, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities and cross-functional stakeholders.



Preferred Experience

  • Experience in Data & Analytics, or Data Governance environments.
  • Experience with Power BI dashboard testing, documentation, enhancement tracking, or support.
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms.
