Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Enable reporting and analytics processes across enterprise systems (e.g., IFS Cloud ERP).
  • Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
  • Support internal teams in using reporting tools to meet business requirements.
  • Translate reporting capabilities into clear processes, standards, and guidance.
  • Assist in report design, execution, scheduling, refresh, and lifecycle management.
  • Support reporting administration activities (imports/exports, archiving, report actions).
  • Define, document, and maintain KPI definitions, logic, and reporting standards.
  • Develop and continuously improve reporting documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Document reporting governance, including ownership, access controls, and best practices.
  • Act as the primary contact for business users regarding reporting enablement and support.
  • Gather reporting requirements and align business needs with system functionality.
  • Deliver training sessions, walkthroughs, and workshops to support adoption and self-service.
  • Support onboarding through consistent documentation and knowledge transfer.
  • Support future-state analytics enablement processes and self-service reporting frameworks.
  • Participate in report testing, validation, and module enhancement activities.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate reporting outputs and configurations.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Liaise with IT teams and vendors to resolve reporting and analytics issues.
  • Align business stakeholders and technical teams for reporting enhancements and changes.
  • Track assigned tasks, timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure project success.
  • Support full-cycle analytics implementations, including planning, execution, and post-go-live support.
  • Proactively identify and address blockers, risks, and scope gaps.\

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, business process enablement, or analytics/reporting support roles.
  • Experience supporting ERP reporting tools and analytics solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Proven ability to develop high-quality documentation and training materials for business processes and system functionality.
  • Strong experience working with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and process rollouts is a strong asset.
  • Experience working with large enterprise datasets, performing data validation, and ensuring reporting accuracy.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into SQL queries, data models, and BI solutions.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline, is an asset.
  • Relevant Business or Systems Analysis certifications such as CBAP are highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong Power BI experience, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, dataset refresh scheduling, and workspace management.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and troubleshooting enterprise data sources.
  • Experience with ERP reporting tools and data structures (IFS experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) for data reconciliation and migration validation.
