As a Site Superintendent in the institutional construction industry, you will oversee construction projects within an ICI GC environment, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines. You will coordinate on-site activities and manage subcontractors to deliver diversified ground-up and renovation projects efficiently.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow and quality standards.
  • Oversee safety compliance and ensure all work adheres to regulations and company policies.
  • Review project plans and specifications, addressing any issues or discrepancies as they arise.
  • Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and stakeholders regarding progress and challenges.
  • Inspect work regularly to ensure quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and submit daily site reports and other necessary documentation.
  • Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimize project disruptions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience in site supervision within an ICI GC environment.
  • Experience overseeing healthcare / hospital renovation and addition projects
  • Strong knowledge of ground-up construction and renovation projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and maintain project timelines.
