Site Superintendent - Design build - Ottawa

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating trades, ensuring adherence to drawings and specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site construction activities from project start through close‑out
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and per contract documents
• Maintain strict compliance with health & safety regulations and company safety policies
• Conduct daily site inspections and tool‑box talks
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to identify and resolve constructability issues
• Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, and clients to resolve site-related issues
• Track site progress, maintain daily logs, and contribute to project reporting
• Manage site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and deficiency resolution
• Enforce quality control standards and ensure work meets applicable codes and standards
