Job Description

The Civil Project Manager will ensure the timely and cost-efficient completion of construction projects. In performing their work, the civil project manager will perform a variety of core tasks, such as the following:

Complete Construction Project Planning Processes

This professional will review land surveys, drawings, assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans, and review potential safety issues.

Oversee Construction Personnel

The Project Manager will assist in managing the on-site construction crews. This individual will be responsible for negotiating the contracts of subcontractors, communicating with inspectors and architects, meeting with construction managers, and coordinating the delivery of materials with vendors.

Prepare Progress Reports and Attend Meetings

It will be up to the Civil Project Manager to generate reports focusing on project progress, job status, and costs. The Successful Applicant

  • CET or Eng Background
  • Reviewing compliance with federal and local safety guidelines and standards
  • 5-10 years civil experience
  • Specialized in sewer, watermain, and road building a MUST
