This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for ICI projects, including materials, labour, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Analyze blueprints, drawings, and project documents to determine project scope and costs.
  • Source and evaluate vendor quotes and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of project costs and adjustments for accurate reporting.
  • Identify potential risks and provide recommendations to minimize financial impacts.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender and bid submissions for new projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations during the estimation process.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator should have:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and project documents.
  • Experience working on commercial fit-out projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Experience in the construction or professional services industry is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard estimation software and tools is an asset.
  • A proactive and organized approach to managing multiple projects and deadlines.
