Lead the development of our client's new Transportation Advisory practice, combining client consulting, business development, and practice growth. Advise clients on transportation strategy, network optimization, and TMS solutions while building a high-impact team and service offering.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Lead the growth and development of a new Transportation Advisory practice.
  • Deliver strategic transportation and logistics consulting engagements for clients.
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities and winning new projects.
  • Advise clients on transportation strategy, carrier selection, network optimization, and TMS solutions.
  • Enhance existing network design methodologies with deep transportation expertise.
  • Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing consulting team over time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional supply chain consulting teams on complex client engagements.
  • Shape the service offering, methodologies, and go-to-market strategy for the practice.

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong expertise in transportation and logistics, particularly within the U.S. market (carriers, lanes, pricing, and network strategy).
  • Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and the broader transportation technology landscape.
  • Consulting experience is preferred, but candidates from industry with strong transportation expertise will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building a new practice and growing a business.
  • Previous leadership or people management experience is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel across North America as needed and work full-time from one of the company's offices.
