We addressed and fixed the vast majority of issues raised in the audit. Since then, we have been proactively monitoring our website and scanning it on a regular basis using the accessibility scanner from Recite Me to ensure we meet the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This website is built using standard web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure a consistent and accessible experience. Our key focus has been done on the main journeys of the website: Homepage User account areaJob application journey Submit CV journeyJob match journeyContact pages Key campaigns: Talent Trends... All these journeys are scanned frequently to make sure they stay accessible over time. Compliance StatusThe website has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. That means you should be able to: Zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screenNavigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software due to a proper semantic structureListen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)Most of the images are accessible as we have added alternative text to the images. Most of our videos have captions and transcriptWe’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand. However, this website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard.Non-accessible contentNon-compliance with accessibility regulationsWe know some parts of this website are not fully accessible: Live streams not hosted on YouTube do not have live captions. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.4 (Captions Live)3rd parties' elements can have some failures: Cookie banner from One trust,Captcha in forms (3.3.2),Google review iframes in the footer and contact pagesSome pages contain information inserted in CSS that is not rendered by assistive technologies. This may cause issues to visually impaired users. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1(Info & Realtionships)Some pages make use of markup for presentation purposes (e.g. empty paragraphs or unstructured text within paragraph tags) This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.3.1(Info & Realtionships)Some iframe are missing html attribute that is not rendered by assistive technologies. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value)Some old images do not have a text alternative, so people using a screen reader cannot access the information. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-text Content)It’s not possible for users to change text size without some of the content overlapping. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.4 (Resize Text) Disproportionate burden We are committed to improving the accessibility of our content; however, some formats currently present challenges that would impose a disproportionate burden to fully remediate. Specifically, a number of PDF documents, infographics, and PowerPoint presentations published prior to June 2025 are not fully accessible to all users. These materials may lack proper semantic structure, alternative text for images, or keyboard navigation compatibility.Due to the volume and complexity of these legacy files, combined with our limited technical and staff resources, we have concluded that retroactively making all such content fully accessible would impose a disproportionate burden on our organization at this time. This assessment has been made in line with the criteria set out in the Directive. We continue to ensure that all new content is created in accordance with accessibility best practices. Additionally, we are committed to progressively improving legacy content where feasible and to reassessing this disproportionate burden regularly. If you require access to a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us at montreal@michaelpage.ca and we will do our best to provide an alternative version in a timely manner.Content not subject to the accessibility obligation Third-party content not under our controlContent or functionality provided by third-party platforms or services (e.g., embedded maps, social media feeds, YouTube videos, widgets) that are not developed or funded by us and are not fully modifiable.Pre-recorded time-based media published before 23 September 2020This includes older video and audio files, provided they haven’t been substantially updated.File formats not intended for web useCertain PDFs, Word documents, or other downloadable formats published before 23 September 2018 may not be fully accessible, unless they are essential for active administrative tasks.Live time-based media (e.g., livestreams without captions)Live audio or video content that is not pre-recorded and does not include real-time accessibility features like captions or sign language interpretation. As part of our continued commitment to accessibility, we have planned the following steps to be implemented over the coming months.
