The Senior Project Manager will play a critical part in driving project success, mentoring future leaders, and contributing to overall business performance. Job Description

  • Provide senior-level oversight across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and profitability targets
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Coordinators, and support staff to strengthen internal capabilities
  • Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on project performance, risk, and resource allocation
  • Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee full project lifecycle from pre-construction through closeout on large, complex builds
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Oversee project financials, including forecasting, cost control, change management, and margin optimization
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with Field Superintendents to ensure seamless field execution

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:



  • Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of progressive construction project management experience, including leadership of large-scale commercial or institutional builds
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  • Strong background within a mid-to-large general contractor environment
  • Proven leadership experience developing and managing high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of construction contracts, procurement models (hard bid, negotiated, AFP), and project delivery methods
  • Advanced knowledge of cost control, scheduling, and risk management practices
  • P.Eng, PMP, or LEED accreditation considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency with project management and accounting systems (e.g., Viewpoint)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
