Job Description

  • Set national standards and strategies to improve efficiency, service quality and cost control
  • Oversee all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and security
  • Ensure full compliance with local building codes, workplace health and safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Plan and deliver preventative maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and unplanned repairs
  • Manage capital projects, lifecycle planning and building upgrades
  • Own operating budgets and capital spend, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising service
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts that deliver value and reliability

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years' in facilities management in residential or residential‑adjacent environments, i.e. multi‑family, senior living, student housing or hotel management
  • Background in property or construction field
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance programmes and safety regulations
  • A track record of leading and developing teams across multiple sites or regions
  • Clear, confident communication and strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Willingness to travel
