As a Site Superintendent - Travelling, you will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will manage on-site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Project locations will vary across remote areas in Northern Ontario.

Our client is an established ICI General Contracting company focused in the buildings construction industry, based in Orillia. The primarily focus on serving institutional and commercial/light industrial clients with their renovation, addition and base building needs across remote North Ontario geographic regions.

Description de poste

  • Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise to minimize delays.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to keep them informed of developments.
  • Travel to remote areas as required to manage construction projects.

Le candidat idéal

A successful Site Superintendent - Travelling should have:

  • Strong experience in ICI GC/CM construction projects.
  • Proven ability to manage construction sites in remote areas.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide on-site teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for work
