Supervise workers and subcontractors, manage materials, and maintain project schedules. Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to resolve issues and keep the project on track.

Job Description

  • Supervising projects and operations on-site
  • Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld
  • Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
  • Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
  • Ensuring that the budget is followed; working with Project Manager to keep costs under control
  • Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years experience in local construction as a Superintendent working on multiple **(atleast 2)** full-cycle WWTP developments is a must
  • Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
  • Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale ICI developments
  • Familiarity with LEED certification and sustainable building practices preferred
  • Additional tasks and duties as required
