As a Site Superintendent with our client, you will lead day‑to‑day site operations while ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget targets are consistently met. You will serve as a key on-site leader, coordinating subcontractors, guiding field teams, and maintaining strong client and consultant relationships.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

As the team continues to grow, they are seeking a highly skilled Site Superintendent with relevant project experience to join their team.

Job Description

  • Lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring adherence to contract documents, safety standards, and project schedules
  • Manage subcontractors, trades, and field staff
  • Conduct site meetings, coordinate inspections, and maintain detailed site reports
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve site issues proactively
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, consultants, and client representatives
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality control and workmanship
  • Maintain strong documentation through project management software and scheduling tools

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Superintendent should have:

  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI or institutional projects valued $5M-$80M, ideally with multiple successful projects in the $25M-$40M range
  • Strong track record of delivering ICI projects such community, municipal, institutional, or public-sector buildings
  • Post‑secondary education in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related discipline from a Canadian (preferably Ontario-based) university or college
  • PMP, LEED AP, and Gold Seal Certification (GSC) considered strong assets
  • Proficiency with Procore (or equivalent project management software)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Primavera (P6) for scheduling
  • Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, municipal standards, and industry best practices
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities with a proactive mindset
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and project excellence
