As the Site Superintendent, you will oversee all the on-site activities, up to and including the construction activities, managing the sub contractors. You will also coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, and engineers to maintain project specifications, schedules, and budget.

Job Description

  • Supervising projects and operations on-site
  • Ensuring that the quality of work and materials is upheld
  • Organizing and Supervising site staff, trades and contractors and ensuring that they are performing as required and reporting progress
  • Ensuring that the health and safety project plans and MOL requirements are implemented and followed
  • Ensuring that the budget is followed; working with Project Manager to keep costs under control
  • Creating, Monitoring, and updating project schedules and ensuring the schedule and look ahead schedules are followed and provide updates to the Project Manager/Senior Management as required

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of SWO experience in construction as a commercial Superintendent working on multiple **(atleast 2)** full-cycle commercial developments is an asset
  • Have a post secondary education in Business, Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent (MBA and M. Eng. Preferred)
  • Have all necessary certifications like Working at Heights, WHIMIS, First Aid and Basics of Supervision
  • Possess thorough knowledge in designing and building large scale multi family construction projects
  • Additional tasks and duties as required
