Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for ICI projects, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with project goals.
  • Lead subcontractors and trades, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to maintain project schedules, specifications, and compliance.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges, implementing corrective actions to mitigate delays and risks.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance to ensure a secure and incident-free work environment.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and quality control checks to uphold company standards and project requirements.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, expenses, material usage, and workforce management for accurate reporting.
  • Foster strong communication among team members, clients, and subcontractors to drive efficiency and project success.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an ICI Site Superintendent, with a strong track record in managing complex ICI projects, including new-build hotel developments.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials specific to the ICI sector.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Experience with LEED certification and sustainable building practices is an asset.
  • Gold Seal certification or equivalent industry credentials are highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and digital tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure and adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
