Senior React Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain React-based web applications using modern frameworks and libraries.
• Lead front-end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, and overall application structure.
• Analyse requirements and provide estimates for new front-end features and enhancements.
• Resolve UI-related issues including browser compatibility, performance optimization, accessibility, and defects from system testing and UAT.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX designers, and backend teams to refine user stories and technical requirements.
• Deliver front-end solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Enforce best practices for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, and accountability within a complex technical environment.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on front-end/UI engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in a Senior React Developer or Lead React role.
• Extensive experience with React (17/18), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.
• Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and personalization tools (e.g., Ninetailed).
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Ant Design, or similar.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.
• Working knowledge of modern build tools including Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
