Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsLead and shape modern React architecture at enterprise scale.High-impact role blending hands-on coding with technical leadership.About Our ClientLeading candadian insurerJob DescriptionKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain React-based web applications using modern frameworks and libraries.Lead front-end architecture decisions, including component design, state management, and overall application structure.Analyse requirements and provide estimates for new front-end features and enhancements.Resolve UI-related issues including browser compatibility, performance optimization, accessibility, and defects from system testing and UAT.Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX designers, and backend teams to refine user stories and technical requirements.Deliver front-end solutions using Agile/Scrum methodologies.Enforce best practices for code quality, security, maintainability, and performance.Demonstrate strong ownership, adaptability, and accountability within a complex technical environment.Requirements7+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on front-end/UI engineering.3+ years of experience in a Senior React Developer or Lead React role.Extensive experience with React (17/18), JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.Experience with state management solutions such as Redux or Context API.Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Contentful) and personalization tools (e.g., Ninetailed).Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Material UI, Ant Design, or similar.Experience integrating front-end applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.Working knowledge of modern build tools including Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
