Reporting to the Vice President of Construction, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution of projects and providing leadership to the project team.Job DescriptionThe individual is a proven leader with the ability to manage project teams of five or more, demonstrating outstanding communication and organizational skills. The responsibilities will include:Leading and overseeing ICI construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery that meets project specifications, budget, and schedule.Providing regular progress reports to the V.P. of Construction and key stakeholders, covering all aspects of project performance, including safety, quality, schedule, budget, and risk management.Collaborating with the Estimating Department on project budgeting, tendering, and procurement, ensuring project budgets are accurate and in line with the project scope.Reviewing, validating, and approving project invoices and trade contractor claims promptly, coordinating with the Accounting Department to ensure complete and accurate cost control documentation.Managing project cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available to cover project costs.Overseeing the evaluation and negotiation of subcontracts, integrating supplementary instructions (RFI/SI/CCN/CD), assessing their impact on budget and schedule, and negotiating and approving change orders (COs).Leading and guiding the project team to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
