We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of institutional construction projects ranging from $25 million to $100 million. This is an opportunity to oversee high-profile developments in the healthcare, education, and public infrastructure sectors.

Job Description

  • Oversee full project lifecycle from pre-construction to substantial completion for institutional projects ($25M-$100M).
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management strategies.
  • Manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement while ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Ensure all projects adhere to Ontario Building Code, OHSA, and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Lead on-site teams, subcontractors, and project coordinators, fostering a collaborative and safety-driven culture.
  • Implement cost control measures, change order management, and value engineering.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and proactively address challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with LEED, sustainability, and accessibility requirements where applicable.

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in institutional construction project management ($25M-$100M+).
  • Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario's construction regulations, procurement processes, and contract law.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certifications (preferred but not required):
    • Gold Seal Certified (GSC) - Project Management (CCA)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) - PEO
    • Certified Engineering Technician (CET) - OACETT
    • LEED AP BD+C (for sustainability-focused projects)
    • COR Certification experience (safety leadership)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
