It has a long history of building master‑planned projects and delivering strong customer service within both Canadian and U.S. markets.Job DescriptionLead and manage the full lifecycle of the construction project from design coordination through to project turnover.Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., MS Project or Primavera P6).Prepare, review, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.Coordinate and oversee construction sequencing, critical path milestones, and long-lead procurement.Lead and coordinate general contractors, consultants, trades, and internal teams.Serve as the primary site contact for clients, consultants, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and senior management.Facilitate weekly coordination meetings, safety briefings, and progress reviews.Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to site staff, and subcontractors.Ensure full compliance with local, provincial, and federal building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety requirements (OHSA).Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they impact schedule or cost.Enforce quality control programs and coordinate third-party inspections and testing.Oversee permit acquisition, utility coordination, and municipal approvals.Track and manage construction costs, approve invoices, and issue change orders as required.Review and validate subcontractor claims, RFIs, and progress draws.Implement strong cost-control measures and value-engineering processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled and all other qualified applicantsThe Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction project management (residential and/or ICI), with at least 3 years managing projects over $100M in value.Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and permitting processes in Ontario.Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS office.)Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Strong understanding of contracts, including CCDC and CCA contracts and supplementary conditions.What's on OfferCompetitive salary range of $140000 to $180000 CAD.Three weeks of vacation to start.Car allowance provided.Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.This is a permanent role based in Peterborough within the property industry.
