The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and finalizing projects within budget while adhering to deadlines for a large scale Landmark Project. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

The client is an established high rise residential developer and construction management firm with successful experience building challenging landmark projects across Canada and the US with an evergrowing very extensive project pipeline.

Job Description

In collaboration with senior management, define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals.
* Develop project plans and associated communications documents.
* Estimate the resources and personnel required to achieve project goals.
* Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
* Assess need for additional staff and/or consultants; liaise with department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within and/or outside the organization.
* Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
* Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 10 years of relevant full cycle high rise residential and mixed-use experience in a Construction environment.

  • Ideally worked with Developers, understanding how to bring a project from SPA, working drawings to starting the project and building themselves (self-perform)
  • Experience managing multiple large construction contracts involving consultants, construction firms and general contractors.
  • Solid background in preparing and administering consulting and construction agreements
  • Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Additional duties, as required
