Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsCompetitive base + bonusVehicle allowanceAbout Our ClientOur client, a well-established construction firm, is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the estimating process for a diverse range of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.Job DescriptionPrepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects across various sectors.Oversee the preconstruction process, evaluating project scope, risks, and opportunities.Manage tendering processes, analyze bid submissions, negotiate with subcontractors, and finalize contracts.Provide cost analysis and value engineering to optimize budgets and project efficiency.Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to align estimates with project requirements.Coordinate with the construction management team to ensure seamless project execution.Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to optimize project costs.Utilize historical data, unit pricing, and productivity factors to establish benchmark estimates.Track and analyze project costs, timelines, and performance for continuous improvement.Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and industry standards.Lead and mentor junior estimators, sharing expertise and best practices.
