Job Description

Senior Estimator - ICI - OttawaKey role requirements:

  • Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates for major ICI construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to determine project scope and requirements.
  • Analyse project documents, specifications, and drawings to prepare estimates.
  • Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Assist in preparing bid proposals and tender submissions.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to maintain up-to-date cost data.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior estimators within the team.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide input to optimise project plans.

The Successful Applicant

Senior Estimator - ICI - OttawaA successful Senior Estimator should have:

  • 5+ years, proven experience in ICI focused project estimation.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and estimating systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Secret Security clearance is required
