Our client is looking for an experienced Sales leader who understands the Construction (ICI sector) contracting space in Toronto and can help grow the business for them.This role is basically the head of sales position and will report directly to the COO.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

  • Our client is a well-known multi-trade contractor in the GTA Region.
  • Their primary customers are in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional sectors including roofing companies, Property managers, contractors etc.

Job Description

  • This role is basically the head of sales position and will report directly to the COO.
  • Develop and execute the company's national sales strategy aligned with company's core service pillars.
  • Lead end-to-end business development efforts across targeted ICI clients-roofers, general contractors, property managers, building owners, engineers, and consultants.
  • Build a strong pipeline of new accounts while expanding existing relationships.
  • Lead a team of 2 direct reports.
  • Most of the travel is expected to be within the GTA Region.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-10 years of relevant construction sales experience, ideally in roofing, restoration, specialty contracting, building envelope, masonry, or ICI markets.
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and client needs in ICI environments.
  • Knowledge of building envelope, environmental containment, masonry, concrete, or interior protection systems will be an asset
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
