The Technical Sales Engineer will oversee and expand the business across Western Canada /US Pacific Northwest regions and build strong working relationships with structural steel engineers, steel fabricators, consulting/design engineering firms, and end users.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Manage and grow the business across the Western Canada & US Pacific Northwest regions.
  • Product Focus: Girder Clamps, Hollo-Bolts & Expansion Bolts, Floor Fixings etc.
  • Territory: Pacific NW Region (Canada - BC, AB, SK & US - WA, OR, ID, MT, WY)
  • Build strong working relationships with structural steel engineers, steel fabricators, consulting/design engineering firms, and end users.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and product education to stakeholders to increase awareness and adoption of company's solutions.
  • Deliver presentations, technical demonstrations, and product knowledge sessions for relevant decision makers.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert on company's product range, steel connection methodologies, and application best practices.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Prior experience in steel, structural engineering, construction products, or industrialB2B technical sales.
  • Experienced partnering with structural steel engineers, steel fabricators, leading consulting/design engineering firms, and end users.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian steel codes is essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
