About Our Client

Our client is an ITC Hardware and Solutions Group that is expanding their footprint in Emerging Markets. To follow their Pan African efforts, we are recruiting their new Central Africa B2C Sales Manager. The position will be based in Abidjan Ivory Coast.

Job Description

Based in Abidjan and reporting to the B2C Head of West and Central Africa, you are in charge of the distribution networks, Channel Partners and direct end-users of your market. You are tasked with identifying and maintaining long-term partnerships with major clients. As such you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to group goals and objectives aiming to accelerate and sustain profitable growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to keep up to date with market trends competitors' activities and create and implement a business plan in line with short- and long-term development targets.
  • Manage key distributors and partners by building deep relationships and advising them on how to adapt the service offer to address their needs.
  • Prospect and build a strong sales pipeline for long term growth using all marketing resources at your disposal.
  • Build and sustain key relationships with decision makers at client businesses to Support for monthly procurement, shipment, and payment negotiation with Business Partners
  • Report frequently on status of commercial and operational actions and prospection efforts at group level.
  • Assist billing and cash collection teams with key accounts to avoid payment delays.

The Successful Applicant

To be suitable for this role, you will have more than 5 years' experience in IT Sales within distribution networks and partners in Central Africa. You have built client relationships at a senior level within large distributors and enterprises in Cameroun, Congo, DRC and/or Gabon.

You have continuously exceeded sales targets and have a proven track record in Business development and account management. You have excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills. Fluency in English and French is mandatory for this position.
