My client has an immediate need for a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience in the construction of Bridges for their Woodstock, Ontario office.

Job Description

* Develop diverse, high-performing teams through coaching, training and development.
* Be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
* Provide oversight, leadership and be accountable for the development and maintenance of project schedules and execution plans.
* Oversee preconstruction phase, team selection and ensure the teams execute the stages on a portfolio of projects.
* Develop strategies and action plans to overcome project execution challenges.

The Successful Applicant

* Knowledge of construction techniques and disciplines, production and cost control, scheduling, safety policies and regulations and engineering requirements.
* Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
* Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Acts & Regulations.
* Knowledge of contracts, procedures, impacts of changes on cost and schedules.
* Post Secondary degree or diploma in Construction or Engineering.
* Minimum of 15 years experience in construction with at least 5 years of managing large projects and bridges.
* Proven leadership skills.
* Computer literate.
* Adaptable and flexible.
* Ability to manage large groups, attract and hire workers.
* Sound understanding of Risk Management.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
* Must be able to work under pressure.
