Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsExcellent professional growth opportunity.Work with an established team.About Our ClientOur client is an established construction company with projects throughout Southwestern Ontario.Job Description* Oversees the project teams on their assigned sites to establish the project scope and ensure the job is completed within budget and according to schedule* Provide overall management, administrative and technical direction for one or more projects* Reviewing initial drawings and project scope and ensure that the project is built in accordance with these documents * Conducting routine site visits to oversee the progress and scheduling of the trades * Identifying and advising the senior management team of potential problems, work interference or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts * Overseeing the tendering of and revision of contracts * Overseeing the preliminary construction schedule with the Project Superintendent and Team * Overseeing and signing off on various reports produced by the Project Team including monthly reports and submittal reports * Enforce company and project policies, main client interface, and are responsible for project performance including: budget/costs, schedule, quality and overall project status * The ability to read, interpret, analyze, and forecast a project's costs and determine the status of the job in terms of schedule and costing * Assessing potential risks and notifying owners on a continuous basis * Assure compliance with project construction schedule and budgets and assume responsibility for the commissioning of the project * Ensure comprehensive project close-outMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
