About Our Client

My client is a leading general contractor specializing in complex institutional, industrial, and commercial construction projects. With a focus on projects between $5 million and $80 million+ they are proud to deliver innovative and community-focused projects such as community centers, hockey arenas, libraries, fire halls, and long-term care facilities.

Job Description

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for contracts ranging from $5M to $50M (average $25M-$40M).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align on project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Utilize Procore to manage documentation, workflows, and reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting, risk management, and quality control processes.
  • Build and mentor high-performing project teams, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.

The Successful Applicant

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering or Architecture from a recognized Canadian university or college.
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience (Junior PM) or 15+ years (Senior PM).
  • Proven success in delivering 3-5 full-cycle complex institutional projects, such as community centers, police stations, or long-term care facilities.



Certifications (Preferred):

  • PMP (Project Management Professional).
  • LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
  • Gold Seal Certification.



Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
  • Strong ability to manage budgets, schedules, and teams across multiple stakeholders.
