About Our Client

Our client, a leading high-rise developer in the London area, is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of high-rise projects that will shape the city's skyline.

Job Description

Lead and manage the pre-construction process for high-rise projects, from concept to detailed design.
Oversee project planning, including scope development, scheduling, cost estimation, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure design, budget, and timelines align with client expectations.
Review and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, and contracts to identify risks and opportunities.
Manage the bidding process, ensuring the selection of the best subcontractors and suppliers for the project.
Develop and maintain project budgets, track costs, and identify potential cost-saving measures.
Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 7-10 years of experience in pre-construction management, ideally within the high-rise residential or commercial development sector.
Strong understanding of high-rise construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems proactively.
A degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
