This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical payroll knowledge and a detail-oriented mindset who enjoys being a key support across both HR and Finance.Job DescriptionProcess weekly payroll across salaried and hourly teams, ensuring accuracy and timelinessHandle deductions for taxes, benefits, pensions, and garnishmentsAdminister employee benefits and ensure proper remittance and documentationMaintain accurate employee records including new hires, terminations, and pay adjustmentsCoordinate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll-related questions and discrepanciesPrepare ROEs, T4s, year-end reports, and ensure compliance with all payroll legislationSupport system improvements, data audits, and payroll software enhancementsIdentify areas for process improvement to drive efficiency and accuracyMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
