About Our Client
We're currently looking for a Financial Reporting Manager at a Publicly Traded Canadian start-up
Job Description
The main responsibilities are:
- Prepare Quarterly consolidated IFRS financial statements and contribute to the timely completion of the month-end processes
- Ensure accuracy and financial integrity of results and participate in the preparation of special purpose financial statements
- Manage the budgeting process for the Company collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that the budgets and forecasts incorporate the latest business drivers;
- Setup new entities and oversee the integration process
- Partner with Tax to ensure appropriate taxation requirements are met
The Successful Applicant
- University degree (Accounting) from a recognized educational institution
- CPA designation
- 5+ years' experience within a similar role
- Proven leadership track record in a fast paced changing environment
- Previous experience working with public companies
- Strong team player
