Job Description

  • Prepare regular monthly and ad-hoc journal entries for responsible business units to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements
  • Reconcile complex balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist in reviewing significant variances from budget to actual
  • Prepare and file quarterly regulatory reporting requirements, as necessary
  • Assist in certain special projects as part of the Company's continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform monthly and ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support Finance Management and other departments
  • Support the annual and interim external audit and review process

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional with 3-5 years of experience. They are pursuing or hold a CPA designation, excel in analytical problem-solving, and thrive in fast-paced environments where independence, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines are key. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP are strong assets. Must have banking, financial services, insurance, big4 industry experience.
