Job Description

  • Provide business guidance to operational leaders to help them reach financial and operational objectives, offering recommendations to enhance performance and progress.
  • Oversee all facets of operational finance for the assigned program(s).
  • Offer senior-level financial support to a business segment of program managers, assisting with the preparation and analysis of complex project financial data and other business tasks.
  • Manage the month-end financial close process, including revenue recognition, cost accruals, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Assist with accounts receivable as needed during the billing process.
  • Track billing status and address unbilled issues, collaborating with finance, contracts, accounting, and PMO teams to resolve them promptly.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities in the business segment by developing and supporting pricing strategies and cost volume analysis.
  • Work with program managers to create and maintain monthly and annual program financial forecasts.
  • Create and present financial reports in a clear, professional manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between operations and other administrative support departments on financial matters.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and customers as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • CPA with minimum 6 years of experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and developing a team of 2 or more with potential to grow
  • Must have experience with Financial planning & data analysis:
      • Budgeting
      • Forecasting
      • Cash Flow
      • Working Capital
      • Variance analysis
