As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for ICI projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to develop cost estimates, analyze project specifications, and contribute to the successful execution of projects.

Are you an experienced Construction Estimator looking for an opportunity to work with a leading General Contractor in the Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional (ICI) space?

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for ICI construction projects.
  • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope and requirements.
  • Source and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive bids.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess project risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate take-offs and pricing strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, construction materials, and market pricing.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator in the ICI sector.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building codes.
  • Experience working on projects in the $5M - $50M range.
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Procore, Timberline, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
