As an Estimator - ICI/Heavy Industrial, you'll lead the preparation of detailed and competitive cost estimates for ICI and Heavy Industrial projects. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accuracy, alignment with client expectations, and strategic value.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for ICI and Heavy Industrial projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to identify cost factors.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during the estimation process.
  • Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.
  • Monitor project costs and provide updates to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining cost databases for future projects.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estimator - ICI/Heavy Industrial should demonstrate:

  • A solid understanding of construction processes, particularly within the ICI and heavy industrial sectors.
  • Proficiency with estimation software and digital tools used to prepare accurate cost projections.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to assess project requirements and identify potential risks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when preparing estimates and reviewing project documentation.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and field staff.
  • Clear communication and strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
