We are seeking a Senior Estimator with expertise in the ICI sector to join a growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate cost estimates and supporting construction projects from conception to completion.

This role uses AI-assisted tools to support initial screening. All assessments and decisions are made by a human reviewer.

Job Description

  • Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for ICI construction projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary project information.
  • Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks through thorough analysis and planning.
  • Negotiate and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and submit tenders and proposals within specified deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards and industry best practices in all estimating activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Estimator should have:

  • Strong knowledge of the ICI construction industry and related building practices in both ground up work and interior renovations.
  • Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools.
  • Experience in class A, B, C, D estimates.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with civil projects.
  • A relevant post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
