The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of building construction projects in Toronto, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders effectively.

Job Description

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Lead project teams and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and address any challenges or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project goals are met.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate project performance and implement improvements as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in managing construction projects within the healthcare and ICI buildings industry.
  • Ability to manage project finance, negotiate subtrade contracts, and build project schedules using MS Project
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
