The role will primarily be based in Ottawa, with potential travel to other markets as needed.Job DescriptionInterpret and communicate construction plans, blueprints, and drawings to ensure seamless execution on-site.Plan, manage, and oversee daily construction activities to meet project timelines and priorities.Provide regular project updates to the Superintendent and stakeholders, ensuring clear and transparent communication.Maintain strict adherence to safety policies and regulations, leading by example to enforce a strong safety culture.Demonstrate leadership by mentoring and training labourers and carpenter apprentices, fostering skill development and career growth.Assign tasks efficiently to crew members and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and high-quality results.Uphold quality standards to ensure all work meets project specifications, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.Work year-round in various weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
