Accounting Manager - Logistics - Toronto

• Managing all operations of the accounting team
• Prepare all financial statements while reporting directly to the Financial Controller
• Coordinates all budgeting and forecasting processes while collaborating across departments with key stakeholders
• Ensure financial systems and processes are improving when necessary
• Evaluate existing procedures while providing recommendations for efficiency and optimization
• Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance across regulatory reporting and auditing process
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors
• Handles direct and indirect tax filings and ensures regulations are met
