About Our Client

Founded in 1992, Fix Auto is Canada's number one consumer brand in collision repair and one of the biggest national networks of repair facilities in the country. Having recently acquired iconic brands such as Speedy Auto Service, Novus Glass, and Minute Muffler, this business is quickly becoming the largest automotive aftermarket franchise network in Canada.

Fix Auto has over 700 franchise locations with a network that spans eight countries. They have plans to continue launching new countries and acquiring complimentary businesses to support their global growth.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President Marketing will own the Fix Auto, Speedy Auto, Novus Glass and Minute Muffler brands across Canada.

You will have overall responsibility for the development of the marketing vision and strategy to support and build brand awareness, grow communications channels, develop and oversee the marketing plan aligned with the overall corporate strategy and goals.

Working collaboratively, in a matrixed environment, your key stakeholders will be both internal and external. You will be aligned with the four regional General Managers, the marketing teams in each region, franchisee advertising fund boards and outside agencies.

You will be hands on in all aspects of the execution of the national marketing plan including advertising, communications, public relations, market research, events, promotional materials and offerings.

You will provide excellent leadership and communicate regularly, developing your team's capabilities, career progression opportunities and delivery against regional initiatives.

This is a national role so will require regular travel and the role can be either Calgary or Vancouver based.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 10 years' in progressive marketing leadership roles including national responsibility within a fast moving, entrepreneurial and multi-brand environment.

Expertise in creating a team vision, building team spirit, mentor and coach with an ongoing focus on people development.

Expertise in building consumer branding, preferably within a franchise operation.

Able to quantitatively demonstrate success of increasing revenue, visibility, brand awareness and external recognition within a similarly fast growing environment.

Skilled negotiator with prior experience dealing with multiple vendor relationships.

Take charge individual, collaborative team player, influencer, transparent, inspiring, practical, highly organized, excellent communicator at all levels.
