About Our Client

Our client is a leading provider of natural gas compression solutions to the Western Canada sedimentary basin. Their primary business segments are compression package leasing/rentals, service/maintenance/overhauls, and parts distribution.

Job Description


  • Continually strive to increase company market share by identifying new sales opportunities and growing business within existing clients
  • Consult with area manager and other members of the company's leadership group
  • Develop and execute presentations and proposals on products and services
  • Use CRM to track sales leads and increase business with existing accounts
  • Improve customer relationships through being an accessible and reliable ambassador for the business
  • Leverage technical knowledge of gas compression and industry experience to perform solution-based selling
  • Attend industry specific trade shows and conferences

The Successful Applicant

Key Capability and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in business to business sales preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Technical understanding of gas compression or associated products
  • Post secondary education (technical diploma/college/university) or industry experience equivalent
  • Exceptional skills at building collaborative solutions
  • Regularly demonstrate professionalism, initiative and produces a commitment to quality
  • Reliable and dependable in an autonomous environment
  • Highest level of personal and professional integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced in customer relationship management software (CRM)
  • Strong organizational, planning, prioritization and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills are required (written and verbal)
