Job Description


  • Conduct current state analysis on existing credit risk reporting and analytics/business intelligence along with associated processes for monitoring, governance and reconciliation
  • Conduct gap analysis and develop future state
  • Document findings from analysis into Business Requirements Document(s) including reporting and analytics/business intelligence approach and assumptions
  • Conduct in depth data analysis on required fields for reporting, analytics and business intelligence
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions/workshops with Business Leads / stakeholders to complete and document detailed business requirement documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes
  • Develop processes/checks to identify and monitor/escalate data quality issues
  • Recommend business solutions for reporting, analytics and business intelligence related issues
  • Identify opportunities to standardize and centralize reporting data and associated processes for monitoring and reconciliation
  • Contribute to successful project completion within budget and on time by identifying and monitoring risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Support technology and testing team members by communicating and facilitating the interpretation of requirements
  • Create detailed use cases and acceptance tests that directly align with the business requirements and system requirements specifications
  • Provide status reports as well as identifies and documents issues, risks, dependencies, and assumption

The Successful Applicant


  • 5 years of experience on large regulatory projects/programs with reporting, analytics or business intelligence implications
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task effectively and independently within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to gauge the appropriate level of priority and detail and/or effort required on any given project
  • Strong skills with MS Office products and Visio
  • Strong organizational, follow-up and priority-setting skills to handle multiple tasks/projects and to work independently
  • Ability to analyze complex issues from multiple perspectives and provide strategic recommendations

Business Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of data, reporting and business intelligence concepts as they pertain to credit risk
  • Excellent understanding of wholesale banking and capital markets business with respect to processes, practices and technologies
