Job Description

The Key Account Manager, Public Sector will be the main point of contact between our client and their biggest public-sector clients. The Key Account Manager will be relied up to optimize revenue generation from existing clients while expanding the company's reach into new public sector entities. This position focuses primarily on the education and healthcare sectors. Specific responsibility for this position include: * Develop and maintain multi-level relationships with numerous decision makers in complex public-sector accounts * Work with senior business leaders to establish a strategic approach to account management and new business development * Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to create and execute a strategic approach to market that is in alignment with corporate goals and targets * Capture and present raw market information to internal decision makers * Provide a solution-based selling service that aims to provide bespoke solutions to the unique challenges and goals of each customer * Identify, record and resolve client issues to ensure elite-level customer service

The Successful Applicant

Key Skills & Experience: * Bachelor's Degree in business, management, marketing or related field of study * 5+ years' experience in a key account management position * Experience selling to the education, healthcare or other public-sector industries * High-tech product sales experience. Experience selling software/hardware is preferred * Proven ability to optimize sales effectiveness by using CRM software (Salesforce is preferred) * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
