Job Description


  • Develop and implement the roadmap to expand and continuously improve the scope, processes, systems, and key risk metrics of global IT Asset Management.
  • Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of global IT Asset Management and IT Procurement policies, processes and governance.
  • Globally enforce ITAM policies and procedures.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and metrics to answer what we have, where it is, what it is costing and who 'owns' it.
  • Perform data trend analysis and reporting to identify opportunities to improve and to validate and enforce policy and compliance risk.
  • Define the single "master data sources" within the Asset Database to ensure high asset data integrity.
  • Share asset information with executive leadership, and use such information to make recommendations on how to best control and optimize hardware and software costs and mitigate related risks.
  • Create agile ITAM and IT purchasing risk and oversight solutions to support dynamic business needs that support the Bank's customers (e.g., tablets, virtualization, Cloud, Capacity/ Usage based, lease/purchase/BYOD - "Bring Your Own Device", etc.), and participate in the planning of those dynamic business needs.
  • Evaluate, acquire and implement IT asset management and procurement systems and processes (as required) while ensuring all accounting, contractual, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Maintain strong relationships with outside vendors.

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years demonstrated working experience in people management, team building and development, coaching, and leading teams through change & transformation
  • Must have 5 to 10 years working experience in IT Asset Management and IT Procurement and with the associated tools, systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Must be solution-oriented and possess big picture skills, with a proven ability to deliver improvements in a pragmatic and organized fashion.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years working experience in facilitation/ consensus/ cross-functional collaboration/ negotiation skills; and in process design/implementation/improvement.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in delivering effective presentations, roadmaps, and communications to audiences of multiple levels of seniority, including senior leadership.
  • Must have a minimum of 10 years demonstrated ability to analyze and digest detailed data and clearly communicate key metrics and issues to varied business and IT audience, including senior leadership.
  • Post-secondary education in business, IT or related discipline is required.
  • ITAM Certifications (CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP, CITAD, CITAM, CMAM) from the International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers (IAITAM) is an asset.
  • Completion of ITIL and IT Service Management certificates are highly desired.
