About Our Client

We are urgently looking for a Head of Sales to work for a CPG Food & Beverage Organisation based in North GTA.

Job Description


You will be a high-performing Head of Sales to help our client meet our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives for Canada plus International Markets. You will responsible for leading a small sales team and developing and executing all key sales growth strategies, tactics and action plans required to achieve the revenue targets and quantum leap for the business.


  • To ensure achievement of sales target as per business plan in line with annual budgets
  • Effectively implement sales promotions that maximise volume growth and build brand equity.
  • Maintain, develop and build productive relationships with all accounts and channels to meet company growth and productivity plans by providing strategic and tactical direction.
  • Continuously explore, prospect and capture new markets and new avenue to augment sales and business growth for current and newly launched products.
  • Support and work "hands on" to develop the sales team to achieve stretched targets.
  • Actively manage the product range including SKU control, introduction and store extension so as to strengthen distribution penetration.
  • Manage investment and activity trade-offs so as to maximise sales revenue and increase customer purchase and acquisition of new customer/consumers.
  • Review SKUs and customer margins, and align profits as per company objective.
  • Prospect for new clients by cold calling as appropriate to ensure a continued pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partner with dealer and distributors to develop commitment
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts and channels.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Food & Beverage CPG
  • Staff Management experience
  • To be passionate and a high-energy leader with a proven track record in building and motivating a team to deliver best-in-class results.

Base salary up to $110K base (dependent on experience) + bonus + car allowance + benefits
