Our client, a global medical and pharmaceutical service provider, is currently looking to grow its Montreal team by recruiting a Data Analyst

Job Description



As the Data Analyst - Pharmaceutical consulting your responsibilities will be:





  • Provides support in regards to processing and validation of various Pharmaceutical data sources
  • Match merge data sets across multiple sources specially GPOs, IDNs, Hospitals, Group
  • Practices and Physicians based on a methodical approach
  • Conduct web search to ensure accuracy of merged data elements
  • Deep dive into data sets, understand issues with data elements and identify anomalies and resolve them
  • Captures and reviews data business rules.

The Successful Applicant

The Data Analyst - Pharmaceutical Consulting should match the following requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or related field
  • Should have good understanding of Pharma landscape specially understanding relationship between GPOs, IDNs, Group Practices, Hospitals, Clinics, Payers and Physicians and their attributes
  • Should have experience with Pharma data sources such as AMA, IMS, Symphony, HCOS, CMS, Clinical Trial etc
  • Experience in Pharma MDM Data warehouse environment is desirable
  • Candidates should be willing to work independently while demonstrating initiative and strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with SQL and adept at manipulating and analyzing data through Excel and Access
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated leadership experience is required.
