About Our Client

Our client is a mid sized construction company within the GTA.

Job Description

Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for a wide array of responsibilities, inclusive but not limited to the following:

- Training and development of more junior staff

- Monthly job costing analysis

- Preparation of client billing and bank reconcilitiations

- Preparation of financial statement on a monthly, quarterly, annual basis

- Cash flow management

- Preparation of annual and monthly government filings

- Work with executive management to drive business objectives

- Prepare year end working papers and coordinate annual financial audits

The Successful Applicant

In order to qualify for the position, candidates must possess the following skill set:

- Professional accounting designation (CPA)

- Minimum 3 years managerial experience with a concentration in the construction industry

- Strong experience in POC accounting \ job costing

- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn
