About Our Client

Our client is a leading multinational insurance business.

Job Description

The position will be responsible for steering the financial well being of the organisation by providing financial projections and accurate accounting services, developing staff and supporting the profitable growth of the business.

Specifically this will include:

  • Team Management and Development
  • Supporting the executive team in providing a financial insight into strategy and performance
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of all financial activities in line with local and international rules and regulations
  • Study of market trends and conditions looking for revenue opportunities, potential acquisition targets, looking for operational areas of improvement, cost minimisation and systems enhancement
  • Maximise returns on all investments
  • Development of financial tools to support forecasting, results analysis and analysing any variances
  • Management of relationships with banks, auditors and investors

The Successful Applicant

  • Designated accountant - CPA Preferred
  • Several years experience within a top tier accounting firm
  • A strong understanding of the insurance sector, either gained at a senior level working with insurance clients in a Big Four firm or specifically within an insurance business
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic commercial acumen
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin
